Description
4 stage aquarium reverse osmosis
The Ava Water Filter Four-Stage Aquarium system also utilizes reverse osmosis to provide cleaning through a sediment filter removing contaminants as small as one micron. Further, a phosphate and silica membrane adds another layer of capture through a membrane design that lets water flow through, but not much else. The entire system is designed with a easy-to-use, compact design that takes little effort to install. The entire system, working in full mode removes up to 99 percent of impurities in regular municipal-fed water.
The four-stage design includes the following cleaning elements that fed water will go through:
• Stage 1 – a pre-filter sediment blocker that removes contaminants before they even get into the system and cause clogging.
• Stage 2 – A pre-filter carbon layer that helps remove both chlorine and bacteria from water flow.
• Stage 3 – Using reverse osmosis, the membrane filter takes out 98 percent of metals, salt, bacteria and any other contaminant in the water flow, many not visible to the naked eye.
• Stage 4 – A deionization cartridge filter provides the final layer of cleaning, catching ionic materials such as silica, phosphates, and nitrates.
All units are equipment with non-corrosive hosing and adapters so that connections do their job with water flow consistently. The unit will fit and work with any faucet that is designed with a ¾ inch hose thread end. If the faucet is different, then the user will need to obtain a faucet adapter for a proper connection.
