Description
Ava Water Filter’s Sediment Filter cartridge is compatible with multiple reverse osmosis units including those with all our RO system designation. Because the sediment filter is constructed and bonded with polypropylene micro fibers, the AVA sediment filter provides consistent capture of sediment rather than on just one end of the cartridge. That in turn provides for a higher efficiency performance out of each cartridge, lasting longer and reducing replacement costs. A typical unit can last anywhere from six to eight months prior to needing a swap out.
The Ava Sediment Filter requires no preparation prior to fitting, including the need for specific solvents or wetting chemicals prior to installation. The unit comes in a standard 10 inch size as generally accepted by the water filtering industry. The sediment filter will trap all kinds of contaminants ranging from rust to bugs to dirt and miniscule stones caught in water flows as small as five microns.
An additional benefit includes the construction of the Ava Sediment Filter. Eventually, every water filter, even those installed into refrigerators with drinking water feeds, has to be disposed of, which means it ends up in a landfill in most cases. However, Ava’s Sediment Filter is designed with fabrication materials that break down to pure, trace ash when incinerated; leaving no long-lasting material that will sit for decades or more in a landfill. As a result, there’s no worry of long-term waste with these sediment cartridges. As a result, Ava’s Sediment Filters benefit users both immediately and in the long-term environment as well.
